Where do I even begin?
I had this idea of having a separate blog page as a part of my website. Why? Well,
1. It’s a good designated spot for me to pen down some thoughts about Lazy Suzy and this whole journey specifically (Lord knows I like to yap)
2. I just thought it was a cool way for me to connect with anyone who happens to stumble upon this page. (If you’re here to just shop or browse, hello and I hope you are having a good time <3)
3. I always wanted a blog and this is my website and I am an adult with free will.
Starting Lazy Suzy was one of the most random and chaotic and fulfilling things I have done with my life. I would even say impulsive (Is it really impulsive if six months of consistent work went into this project?).
Taking on this project happened at a bizarre time in my life. It all started with a trip to Bangalore. I decided to make another “impulsive” decision and visit my friends during the Independence weekend in 2025. I had a lovely time and when I came back, I felt some sort of way..
I don’t know if whoever is reading this knows this ( It’s my “hook” to introduce myself) but I am a chemical engineer (the only thing I like about this job is being able to say that) and I was working at a water treatment tech company in Chennai.
My “career plan” was to do my masters degree in Energy Engineering and I was all ready to go. I had my LOR’s, transcripts, SOP, my extensive colour coded excel sheet with every university I was applying to and their deadlines. I was just waiting for the applications to start.
But after my trip, something changed. Something felt different. I sat with it. And I fear I opened Pandora's box.
